About

A Cantonese stir fry of sliced beef with pineapple, aromatics, and a pineapple-vinegar sauce. The pineapple adds sweetness and tenderizes the beef, but must not cook too long or it turns sour.

Instructions

  1. Slice beef and marinate (marinade not specified).
  2. Prep all other ingredients.
  3. Fry beef on high heat until half cooked. Remove from wok.
  4. Fry garlic, onions, shallots, and ginger until fragrant.
  5. Return beef to the wok. Near the end, add pineapple.
